We’re still shovelling out from the last blizzard while another one is headed our way. Fun times in the Maritimes!
There may be snow all around, but the fires of revival are stirring on our campus. Rev. Mark Wilson, author of Purple Fish and pastor of Hayward Wesleyan Church, was on campus for INFUSE, our special services that focus on living a holy life. Pastor Mark preached and encouraged our students with wonderful optimism of the potential of God’s grace working in our lives by the power of the Holy Spirit. Students responded eagerly to this message of hope, and we had precious times of prayer around the altar. While the storm raged outside the chapel, there was peace and joy warming us inside!
Praise the Lord with me in the wonderful progress of the presidential search. Dr. Stephen Lennox has agreed to allow his name to be presented to the Board of Trustees on March 27 for election as our next president. Dr. Lennox is eminently qualified and energized by the exciting challenge of leading Kingswood University to her greatest days of ministry. Please join me in praying for an incredibly positive transition that accelerates the momentum of God’s gracious work on our campus and through our graduates.
