In January, the Presidential Search Committee unanimously nominated Dr. Stephen Lennox, the Honors Professor of Bible and Humanities at Indiana Wesleyan University, as the single candidate to be presented to the Board of Trustees for President of Kingswood. He and his wife Eileen visited the campus in early February and will return in March when the Board will vote on the nomination.
Dr. Lennox is an ordained minister of The Wesleyan Church and a recognized scholar and author. In addition to teaching at United Wesleyan College and Evangelical School of Theology, he has served Indiana Wesleyan University for twenty-two years as Bible professor, Division Chair of Religion and Philosophy, Dean of the Chapel, Director of the Graduate Ministerial Program, and acting Associate Dean. He also has taught as a visiting professor in Zambian, Jamaican, and Russian Bible colleges and has studied biblical lands by traveling to Israel, Egypt, Turkey, and Greece.
